EE launches two new affordable smartphones with 4G and Wi-Fi devices

‘EE’ the UK’s most advanced mobile operator has introduced its two new affordable and branded smartphones ‘Harrier’ and ‘Harrier-mini’ which supports 4G connectivity along with a Wi-Fi-calling service. ‘EE’ has also unveiled two new 4G Wi-Fi devices designed to share data amongst multiple devices ‘Osprey 2’ and ‘Osprey 2 Mini’.

The latest ‘Harrier’ smartphone is highlight of the announcement which draws special attention as it offers outstanding value for money and boasts specs and features typically found on more expensive handsets. ‘Harrier’ features a 5.2-inch Full HD display which provides very unprecedented picture quality and it is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core qualcomm snapdragon processor capable of smooth and seamless multi-tasking that’s associated with of the most recent flagship devices, along with a 13MP camera on its back which EE has stated that it is the most perfect way for users to capture their most special moments as they move on. ‘Harrier’ has a very appealing and slim 8.9mm chassis which hosts an Android Lollipop OS. It is also reported that it has LTE Cat 4 technology which offers real world download speeds of up to 60Mbps (and theoretical max speeds of 150Mbps) and a 2500mAh battery.

The Harrier will cost £199.99 on pay as you go and will be available for free on 4GEE plans starting at £21.99 per month on a two-year contract.

‘Harrier-mini’ is a bit inferior but more compact and comes up in 4.7 inch HD display which is not confirmed but surely 720p resolution and it also features a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. ‘Harrier-mini’ has an 8MP camera on rear and it is also reported that ‘Harrier-mini’ will be the most affordable way to access WiFi calling once enabled on the handset this summer. ‘Harrier-mini’ will take full advantage of the expansive 4GEE network, as well as Wi-Fi calling for those times when you simply cannot get a signal

The Harrier Mini will cost £99.99 on pay as you go and will be free on 4GEE plans starting at 16.99 with a two-year minimum commitment.

‘EE’ has also introduced its two new Wi-Fi modems ‘Osprey 2’ and ‘Osprey 2 Mini’. These Wi-Fi devices are basically designed to share internet up to ten devices at a time. ‘Osprey 2’ provides customers a 4G mobile internet Wi-Fi hotspot. ‘Osprey 2’ also features a long lasting battery 5150mAh with reverse charging capabilities, which allow users to charge your smartphone or tablet from the device while the ‘Osprey 2 Mini’ can be customized from the choice of three color bumpers included inside box. Both devices are exceptionally good for users willing a reliable internet connection while they are out and have to rely on a public hot spot or worry about draining their phone by tethering.

Both devices will be free on mobile broadband contracts starting at £15 per month and will cost £69.99 or £49.99 respectively on pay as you go, which includes 6GB 4G data.
